Tom Brady2000 Fleer Ultra #234
Two listings can look like Ultra #234 at first glance. The Gold Medallion carries a G suffix, and another product also uses the number 234.
A search for “Brady rookie 234” can make an expensive mistake look like a bargain. The unsigned Fleer Ultra base card deserves a full product check, especially when a seller leads with the player and grade but abbreviates the rest of the title.
Three checklist entries to separate
Start with 2000 Ultra, Tom Brady, #234. Fanatics Collect separately catalogs an Ultra Gold Medallion Die-Cut #234G. It also catalogs a SkyBox Dominion #234 that pairs Brady with Giovanni Carmazzi. The extra letter matters in the first case, and the product and pictured subjects matter in the second. You can intentionally collect all three without treating their sales as equivalent. 1 2 3
The player behind the card
The scale of Brady’s first season is easy to forget. He completed one pass for six yards as a Patriot in 2000. Fleer Ultra #234 belongs to that brief first appearance, years before his title record was complete. 6
New England selected him 199th overall in the 2000 draft. He finished his career with seven Super Bowl championships. 7

Read the result at the lot level
Fanatics Collect sold a PSA 10 Ultra #234 for $3,360 on August 3, 2026, including buyer’s premium. PSA separately reports an eBay auction at $3,250 on September 13, 2026, for a PSA 10. The first figure comes from the auctioneer’s lot. The second comes from a provider’s sales table. Record their dates and evidence types so both can be checked again when a new example comes up. 4 5
Choose a copy within the right product
If the goal is a display copy, start by comparing two Ultra fronts in the same grade. Consider whether the centering or a visible corner flaw would distract you at normal viewing distance. For any substantial gem-mint premium, add a clear reverse photograph and inspect the holder label for the exact card number. A matching year and grade alone leave the most important identification work unfinished. 5

Collector questions
What does #234G tell me?
The G belongs to the Gold Medallion entry. Keep that version separate from the base Ultra #234.
Why save a photograph with each price?
It preserves the issue, grade and particular copy attached to that amount. It also helps catch the same slab if it appears in a later sale.
