Barry Bonds1986 Topps Traded Tiffany #11T
One number, two editions and a substantial gap in the price guides.
Bonds #11T makes a good test of any comparison spreadsheet. If all the rows say only “1986 Topps Traded,” a collector can unknowingly mix two editions and end up with a price that describes neither. Give Tiffany its own row before making an offer.
Match the edition on both sides
PSA lists Bonds #11T in both the standard Traded set and Traded Tiffany. The premium set uses glossy fronts and higher-quality stock. Compare a prospective copy with a trusted Tiffany reference under similar lighting. Judge the face and back together. A photograph of a glossy holder around an ordinary card can make a front-only comparison particularly difficult. 1 2 3
The player behind the card
Bonds stole 36 bases as a Pittsburgh rookie, more than twice his 16 home runs. The 1986 Traded portrait belongs to that runner as much as to the power hitter collectors remember. 5

An example of the cost of a bad match
The PSA guide entries captured in November 2026 illustrate the scale of the issue. Their PSA 9 reference figures were about $45 for regular Traded and $1,200 for Tiffany. These are guide figures for separate issues, each with its own market. A cheaper #11T advertised as a bargain deserves an edition check before a condition check. 1 2
A sale to use as a reference point
A PSA 9 Tiffany copy sold through Fanatics Collect for $2,310 on June 15, 2026, including buyer’s premium. It is one dated result for one card. When choosing among similar examples, inspect corner tips, centering and the glossy surface, then compare the delivered price. An attractive PSA 8 can be a reasonable alternative if the goal is to display the edition rather than complete a particular grade run. 4

Collector questions
Does Traded on the label establish Tiffany?
Look for the explicit Tiffany designation. Both entries in PSA’s catalog have the same player and card number.
How should I compare an auction with a guide entry?
Keep the auction date and premium with the sale and give the guide figure a separate column. That preserves what each number measures.
