Connor Bedard2023-24 Upper Deck #451 · Young Guns base
Chicago’s #451 has a single-player base card, numbered parallels and even a separate Canvas card about the base card itself.
Connor Bedard’s 2023–24 Series 2 Young Guns is easy to locate by number and easy to mix up by finish. Upper Deck uses #451 across multiple versions. For the standard rookie, the useful checklist entry reads Base Set – Young Guns, Connor Bedard, Chicago.
Read the line above the number
The standard #451 appears in Series 2. Upper Deck also lists a Deluxe #451 numbered to 250 and an Exclusives #451 numbered to 100. A visible serial stamp can change the comparison immediately. Read the denominator, check the variety on the holder and retain a full reverse image. A seller who identifies only the player and number has left an important part of the description open. 1
The player behind the card
Bedard recorded 39 assists to go with 22 goals in his first Chicago season. That balance gives the Young Guns portrait a place in a collection of playmakers as well as one of scorers. 5

A photograph of a photograph
The Extended Series Young Guns Canvas shows Bedard holding his base Young Guns card. It makes an interesting companion if you enjoy the self-referential image. For a price comparison, keep the Canvas purchase separate from the Series 2 card in his hands. Series 2 also has a two-player option. Bedard and Leo Carlsson share the Young Guns checklist, #500. 2 1
Make your comparison list narrow
For each potential sale, write down the season, series, number, finish and grade before recording the dollar figure. A listing with /100 belongs on the Exclusives list. A two-player checklist belongs under #500. When two results survive those checks, compare actual images and dates. A surface mark visible on one copy can be more meaningful than the small price difference between them. 1
